Robert Blake is a true visionary, and his vision is now becoming a reality. Cast your minds back to June 25th, 2020, at the height of the pandemic. Robert was busy promoting the healing power of renewable energy through interviews and outreach efforts.
Thanks to the Department of Energy’s funding, Native Sun and Sage were able to bring on board esteemed partners like The Center for Energy and Environment, The American Lung Association, and Xcel Energy. Together, they are driving a collective effort known as ElectricNation(TM) to build the necessary infrastructure for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, which will help achieve a Zero Carbon Economy.
Today, 991 days since Bob’s appearance on Tony Loyds’ Social Entrepreneur podcast, we are witnessing the near-completion of this inspiring project. Bob Blake, the Executive Director of Native Sun, and Joe McNeil of Sage are about to reach a major milestone with the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in the Red Lake Nation in northern Minnesota.
These accomplishments, though they may seem like overnight successes, have been in the works for more than 1,000 days. Let us celebrate the unwavering dedication, hard work, and perseverance of Robert Blake, Joe McNeil, and their partners. Their efforts to create a greener future for us all are truly remarkable and serve as an inspiration to us all.
